House Rules Series 3: Vast Appearances

Star pieces shine in the whole house reveals

16 June 2015

As we approach the dream holiday home renovation we take a look back at our favourite rooms so far in House Rules. This season we were impressed with the design flair of the contestants in incorporating some of our favourite pieces into their renovation zones.

QLD's Dining Room by Ryan and Marlee:

This was homeowner Ben's favourite room in the house. Ryan and Marlee scored 19/20 from the judges, achieving the preppy eclectic house rule perfectly. Our Brace Dining Table and Bench were featured, adding an industrial touch to the room. This is balanced out with an eclectic mix of our white dining chairs (Jay Chair, Diamond Chair, and Andross Chair) around the other side of the table.

QLD HR Dining Table

WA's Dining Room by Ben and Danielle:
Brian and Karina needed a 'desert coastal' makeover for their family home. Considering this, Ben and Danielle chose our Rafter Dining Table. This table is built to last, handcrafted from reclaimed eucalyptus and sustainable mango hardwood. Sticking with other pieces from the range, the Rafter Bench and Rafter Buffet also make an appearance, helping to give off those rustic coastal vibes.

Interestingly enough, contestants from last season's House Rules also choose items from the Rafter range for the Townsville house reno, turning the buffet into a one of a kind rustic bathroom vanity and finished off the living room with the Rafter coffee and lamp tables!

WA HR Dining Room

WA's Living Room by Ryan and Marlee:

Another favourite from the WA house, this room was worked on tirelessly by Ryan and Marlee. They achieved a balance of both desert and coastal using terracotta and hints of copper, as well as beiges and blues, seen in our luxurious Adele patterned chairs. A recurring appearance was made by our copper Punch Stools, where they functioned as both a planter and a stool.
